Children: Dusty Watkins

Dusty After years of being a Christian, All Saints Anglican introduced me to the intimate, mysterious, and glorious Triune God.  This new understanding created something new in me: a life lived in awe and excitement to greet each day so that I might know him better!  I am the leader of our children's ministry at All Saints and I see the same awe in our children, only they don't know what to call it.  I hope to facilitate an educational process that gently leads our children to place God's name on that mysterious presence that abides with them, and to reveal God's truths so that they might know and delight in Him for eternity.

Communications: Roland Carson

photo_placeholder For me to be a member of All Saints is to be on a journey of faith to God supported by a fellowship of co-believers who are dedicated to finding him by study, prayer and service. Through baptism in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost, each of us is made one with Christ and received into the fellowship of the Church. I bring my background in Public Relations and in particular Communications to serve in achieving the goals of reaching out to the All Saints family, present and future. Through the our newsletter, The Anglican Journal and helping keep our Web Site, updated I am happy to be part of a team tasked with keeping our members and visitors informed as we travel on this journey.

Daughters of the Holy Cross (Coming Soon)

photo_placeholderThe Order of the Daughters of the Holy Cross was instituted September 12, 2009 at Holy Cross Anglican Church in Loganville, GA. It was established to provide Anglican women a way to support and encourage each other in living out a lifelong vow to follow our Lord and further His work in the world by focusing on prayer, service, study, and evangelism.

The vision of the Order is to gather Anglican women and girls into a nurturing and empowering community called to be servants of Jesus as He unites and builds up His Body, the Church.

Hospitality: Jo Ann Symons

photo_placeholderAll Saints has helped me to grow spiritually. Everyone needs a church body and I feel that I have found it at All Saints. It is a place of celebration and it gives you a sense of community.

Intercessory Prayer: Melissa Folks

photo_placeholder All Saints Anglican Church is an answer to my prayers for a Christian community that is rooted and founded in orthodox Christian beliefs and values, and a church family that expresses the love and joy of the Lord.  The worship at All Saints glorifies God through orthodox teaching and preaching and the sacrament of Holy Communion. Worship is enhanced by the use of ancient future liturgy and adherence to the traditional Christian calendar. This sacramental and liturgical worship creates a powerful connection between my life in today’s world and the ancient foundations of Christianity. The combination of these elements provides me with the opportunity to worship God in Spirit and Truth.  In this atmosphere, I can celebrate Jesus and rejoice in the opportunity to worship the Lord God Almighty with complete abandon in the presence of the Holy Spirit.

The ministry of Prayer and Intercession is my calling in the Body of Christ.  All Saints is grounded in expectant, believing prayer, which makes it a fertile community in which to share the gifts God has given me.  My desire is to share and expand the ministry of prayer, in its many Biblical forms, not only within the community of All Saints, but also, in the larger community of Baton Rouge.  Prayer and Intercession under gird the work of God’s Kingdom.  It is my desire to be part of the laying of a Biblical foundation of prayer at All Saints that will continue to unfold for generations.  Praying for the community of All Saints, and those who are yet to come, is a privilege in which I rejoice. It is a responsibility that I hold with awe and wonder before a Holy God.

Outreach and Missions: Dana Reed

photo_placeholder “Then these righteous ones will reply, ‘Lord, when did we ever see you hungry and feed you?  Or thirsty and give you something to drink?  Or a stranger and show you hospitality?  Or naked and give you clothing?  When did we ever see you sick or in prison and visit you?’  And the King will say, ‘I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!’ " Matthew 26:37-40

It was the Lord’s choice to give me a heart for service, and I accept this call joyously.  What a privilege it is for us to be instruments of the Lord, His hands and feet, to use the gifts He’s given us to reach out to our brothers and sisters!  For it is actually His face we see in theirs.  God has changed and molded my life by providing opportunities for service.  One of the most memorable calls was when I served with my son on the first international mission team for Watoto Childcare Ministries in Uganda in 2005.  And now I look forward to the opportunities God will give us here at All Saints!

Prayer List and Records: Rose Louise Harrell

photo_placeholder I'm part of All Saints Anglican Church because it puts Jesus, His Gospel, and Bible Scripture as understood by traditional Christianity for 2000 years, at the heart of our worship.  The All Saints community is loving and caring.  Although I'm not a born leader, the growth of our new All Saints community, with its mission to tell the Word, is so important to me that I find I am now doing work in All Saints' ministry that I never expected.
